What is Rivermen

Here is a detailed introduction of Rivermen.

Rivermen is an AI-powered metaverse project that was launched with 3D PFP and features a visual style that resembles "Minecraft" with a touch of Eastern aesthetics. Inspired by the iconic painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", Rivermen brings the characters, architecture, and city of ancient Bianliang to life in the web3 world, creating a blockchain-based version of the Song Dynasty of Chinese civilization.

As the team gained more attention and funding, Rivermen partnered with Alibaba Cloud and its own AI research team to take the project to the next level in its second phase, evolving from PFP to an infinitely expandable true AI metaverse. Rivermen's goal is to build a player-generated content metaverse driven by AI, without fixed tasks or plots. The behavior of player AI avatars and their interactions with NPC AI will trigger the next actions according to the AI's logic. Everything is random, unpredictable, and interactive, and will continue online indefinitely.
